Is there anything better than fall in Vermont? From the crisp air to the magnificent foliage views, there’s something for everyone to love & appreciate about autumn in Vermont. Here are a few of our favorite activities to enjoy this beautiful season:

Corn Maze:

Corn Mazes are a great family activity! Enjoy the adventure & challenge of the puzzle while taking in some crisp fall air.

The Great Vermont Corn Maze in Danville in the largest Maze in New England! The “Big Maze” can take two+ hours to complete & can be a great adventure. It’s recommended for older children & active adults. They have updated their procedures this year to help keep themselves & their patrons safe, it is now required that you make reservations in advance. Apple Picking:

Apple picking is a fall favorite in Vermont. Many orchards are updating their systems to help maintain social distancing procedures to keep their staff & patrons safe.

The Islands

Parks & Beaches

What better social distancing activity in the summer than going to the beach? The islands have some amazing beaches. Whether you are looking for a day trip to the beach or to camp for the weekend at Grand Isle State Park – they have something for everyone with views that won’t disappoint!

Allenholm Farm

Allenholm Farm in South Hero is great to visit all year long! Their Maple Creemees & Farm Store with delicious baked goods are always worth a stop. They also provide bike rentals which is a great way to explore the islands. They even provide guided routes! Fall will be here before we know it & you’ll want to enjoy those nice warm fall days before winter comes. Outdoor Eateries

The Islands have some great outdoor eateries to enjoy a good meal while social distancing. A family favorite is Seb’s Snack Bar in South Hero.  With outdoor order windows & following the 6ft guidelines, Seb’s is a great option for a meal while up in the islands.
